Has it been asked and answered as to what the crafter without a home is to do? Will there be public crafting areas?

Example: when I started UO, I LIVED in a tailoring shop. I could make items to sell for gold and saved and saved and saved until I could buy a house.

So for non-home owners, how will we be able to make money?

hopefully public crafting areas will be available in large enough quantities to alllow easy access for those not able to own a property. Always a real pain in other games when one player hoggs all access to public areas.

That's exactly what's shown in Wsye's picture in post #2.
Also, given the nature of selective multiplayer, it is almost guaranteed crafting table gumps (graphical user menu pop-up) will be generated per player, rather than shared/competitive.

Plenty of places will be open due to how the game handles the amount of people that can be interacted with in a given location.

Silvermoon is ready to start crafting as soon as she gathers some resources....... no home needed as long as she has a little space to bank her goods!
Town folks on Siege was always willing to buy from her as she was fair on her prices and was always willing to help a fellowman.

Hmm...This make me wonder how Lord British will look at price gouging; I've got a family to feed. And with price gouging in mind, I'm wondering about price fixing.

    in the words of portalarium

Cities will have comprehensive crafting area's
Towns will have some but maybe not all machines
Villages may have one or 2.

Actually, my concern is how close banks, NPC stores, and public vendor areas are to these public crafting stations. The more spread out these things are from the public crafting stations, the more difficult and time-consuming things become for the homeless.

If that's the case, I would expect long lines at town and village public crafting stations in well-traveled areas...

Good point. As I pointed out in another thread, this could be a problem if you don't have enough of a particular raw ingredient. You can not simply dump all of the remaining components at a public crafting station (as you would at home) and run out and get some more. You have to carry everything in your personal inventory (which could be a problem if you have a limited number of available slots in your bag or backpack - hmm, maybe that's why RG said in that interview they were considering increasing your inventory cap for a certain fee...)

Inventory Cap does not make it easier to carry more stuff I thought we were going for more realism and a weight carry limit depending on strength

Heard somewhere that house owners will have expert crafting stations.

Does this mean that the house owners will be able to craft better items cause they have a expert crafting station?

If so then the game took a huge step towards pay to win.

There will be professional stations in public areas in city area, regular ones in town & basic in villages. Homeowners can have 1-2 pro at home.
