Spent the last few days trying to figure this out, so I thought i'd save other people the trouble. I'm sure there's some details that are off though, so feedback would be appreciated before I put this in Player Created Ressources forum. Thanks!

As far as PoTs go, which of the available planets/cabalists available in the sky it picks for its siege (IE if a town has all devotionals), I have no clue. Anyone?

it doesn't pick, you'll get all of them it's eligible for. a siege with three cabalists is an interesting thing.

So if there's 5 planets up in the sky in front of various constellations and a town with all devotionals gets sieged, it will have 5 cabalists???

hmm. i know you cna get multiple cabalists with multiple planets in front of a single constellation, but i'm not sure about single planets in front of multiple constellations. i'll have to watch for a bit!

If the town has all of the devotionals in question it's probably still possible.

I've seen 3 cabalists in a PoT siege, but I didn't think to look at the sky to check if those 3 planets were in front of a single constellation, which happened to be (one of) the virtue the PoT had.

So in addition to the use of the moon dial to track the siege of the town, but also need to watch the sky there is planet?

If the planet appears, on behalf of the siege has occurred?

the moondial is showing the same information that is in the sky. use whichever works best for you.

It's the same information, just displayed in different ways. If you have an Astrolabe (http://sotawiki.net/sota/Astrolabe) you can see the constellation in the sky very easily, making them very easily identifiable at night. Sometimes the planets can be hard to see though, depending on where they are, so the moon dial is still very useful, especially during the day.

    I have another question.

Message in video : [caveat : the town is under siege ONLY if the constellation is above the horizon ].

The [horizon] is mark for green arrow in image?

From what I gather, it essentially means the constellations you can see in the sky. The horizon line being whatever you can see on your screen, as far as I can tell.
