What mobs are dropping the new loot?

Has anyone gotten any of the new loot bags and what dropped them?

 

got a grey in grannus from the humanoids near zone in just time for a few kills and messin around.

its an interesting little bit of fun so I don't seem the harm in asking about them?

wish I would have tried to trade it before opening it up wonder if there will be a market for them if they are tradable?

I didn't even realize there was a release today, but happy to hear that there is new loot in game, WOOT!

 

I asked to find out what they consider mid level. It could have been like 3 skull zones or anything less than a boss.

 

looks like anything lower than a boss.

 

Mid level is usually 3 or low 5. Have to pay attention when i loot from now on though. LOL. I did get a "unknown item" yesterday. No idea what it is yet. LOL Got it in Rhun Vault when hunting the paper for the Oracle

 

Most of the ones I looted so far came from high 5 skull creatures. They are semi rare from what I can see and mostly have junk. These don't look like they will help make the economy make a comeback.

 

I spent many hours in 3-4 even a 5skull area and didnt see a single drop and the gold/loot returns are still pathetic not worth the regs/time.

 

i got two of the loot bags in about 3 hours in elysium mine killing kobolds a yellow one and a grey on the yellow one gave me a recpie for a two handed white iron sword

 

I got one (grey) off a skeleton in etecter crag mines. It had some random food items, a caltrops, and a tool repair kit.

it seems 5 skull areas ... are "mid" !!

 

Chris made a comment in another thread that these are the mid-level loot changes you were looking for. In that comment he mention a tier 5 mob drop rate of 1 in 200 while a tier 10 drop rate is 1 in 20. To me that doesn't seem like the mid-level loot answer.

 

exactly - although we all know that 5 skull really means anything from 5 like 10 skull so maybe it is.. however, when you're new and you see 1-5 , 3 is mid..

I was a little disappointed, but i guess by 5 skull areas you're getting bored with rusty weapons and 3gp.. so i half get it.. i did assume though it would be a bit more like the original artifact idea where they were available in all zones but the rate went up as the difficulty did.. i assumed the "mid" levels would have something similar..

however, as a cursed player who got like 2 artifacts in months of grinding..... I wont hold my breath for these new things

 

I hear you. I got about the same farming the rise. I also broke more items on a 95% with the added +3% from a ring than i made.

does anyone know the drop rate on arties compared to these? With these being mainly junk loot they should drop more like 1 out of 5 with the rare ones having a lower chance. But that's just what might be fun. We can't ask for this game to be fun or they might take more away from us. Can you say killer DM?!!

 

I can say I haven't seen any in Serpent Spine Foothills. The payoff there is still pathetic. Didn't @Chris say he way going to fix that?

 

I thought the fix was the spiked clubs. As halberds paid too much

 

I messed up one part of this post, the word are is meant to be aren't. The loot bundles aren't meant to be cure for mid-level loot.
