Help with quests

Hiya,

Started playing few days ago and have 4 quests tasks going, none of which can be completed (reasons below)

1. Deliver Qunetin's final report to Kinsey or Rhowsan.
(neither of these NPCs react to my having report, or any keyword related to Quentins report or death)

2. Investigate Source of Blood
(already did, thats how I got his report)

3. Travel to Highvale
(did, ran around, got chased by thugs and elves, city is empty, needed NPC nowhere to be found)

4. Give Abigail the good news
(looked for her everywhere in Soltown, found every single NPC except her....)

Could someone please help me out, are quests all broken or am I just confused?

I believe abigail is one of the women around the campfire.

 

Most of the time if you cannot get them to trigger...just say HELP. That can restart or reengage the conversation. Beginnina quest at HighVale is confusing

Gaiwan should be near the moongate, which is up the staircase near the barn.

Well the first time you go there it should be Battle of Highvale to start the Courage Path - the amulet starts that path.

So if you go there and do not get it, that could cause another problem with not being able to get Courage started.

If the scene changes and the amulet is not there.

I also noticed other changes like Samael going up to help Gawain, getting an XP reward for that.

There was also another quest to find word of Nena's charges.

you're asuming the "travel to highvale" quest is from the isle of storms. not necessarily so. i started an offline char last night, completed battle of highvale, met arabella in resolute, and got "travel to highvale and talk to my friend gawain".

 

It seems to be different depending on which path you start on - I got the Battle of Highvale by going through the moongate from Solace Bridge, but that has been a while since that happened.

 

Lunar rifts are on a full schedule now, every 70 minutes.
