R44 first impression: Improved appearance and performance

    First thing I noticed is that performance is increased and all characters seem a hair sharper. Whatever you guys did, it worked!

    I think the switch to the new unity build did something for us. Was supposed to be no graphical/performance change. Still... I am not complaining, thought the same thing myself.

    Chris said there did (almost) nothing.
    So when I fired the game up yesterday I was surprised to see massively reduced loading times.

    I will be only surprised if i don't get tons of stutters during long play/fight sessions anymore.

    It's weird, because I am getting a framerate increase I can perceive; I think the increase in visual quality may be from slightly reduced motion blur or something related to framerate increase.

    I get:

    - decreased scene loading times (massively!!)
    - less memory usage
    - better fps even in busy citys

    So i have to point out that @Chris lied to us. I am not sure if i can forgive him. Ever. ^^

    Yeah I'm not noticing anything particular on the Mac. I'll load it up in Windows 10 to see if i notice anything

    Yea I'm on Windows 10 as well. If anything some stuff is a bit more choppy than it was last release, especially in the newly uncloned scenes. Still VASTLY better than 42 and before it though.

    Sadly, on my windows 7 / 8GB system I don't notice any loading time improvements. :(
