    I don't know if there is way to rebind the keys to control our avatar!?

    Using an AZERTY keyboard it is very very difficult to move correctly the guy! :D

    I have the same problem. It's almost imposible to move around using an azerty keyboard. Why not allow us to use the arrow keys?

    Agree 100%. I'm left handed and have never used WASD movement. The only thing I've been able to do is double tab W, then hold down the mouse key to kind of steer around things. I know it's early alpha, but left handed people do exist!

    I have the same issue. If adding a full UI to remap the keys, a simple ini file would help.

    Same problem here. I could navigate a bit by tapping W and steering with my mouse, but playing like this is chaotic at best. My suggestion is either an ingame controls menu to remap the different keys or an .ini File where one can remap the keyboard to his or her personal playstyle. If there are no plans to let the players remap the controls, I would suggest to switch the movement controls from WASD to ZQSD if a keyboard with an AZERTY layout is detected by the game.

    After a while I'm now used to move Avatar holding the mouse right button and W (or another direction key).

    not very convenient but I hope more options choices will be given later during alpha stages.

    WASD is the standard, and even though I think the more freedom and options given to the player the better, I think this is a VERY minor issue, especially in a pre-alpha...

    The other issue, was having to 'click' the mouse button everytime you wanted to turn/look around... ermmm why?

    The solution to this is obvious: You should be able to just 'move' the mouse to look/turn around (without having to click the mouse buttom), and press the right mouse button to walk/run forward. How easy is that? Please impliment this, or at least the option to bind every key ourselves.

    I wasn't aware people still used W A S D etc after the above was implimented in like 1999 :p

    Have you played ANY modern game at all? CoD, BF3/4, Shadow Warrior, AC, BAC, TR, Outlast, GW, WoW, Rift.... ALL use WASD (the console-ported ones work best with a joystick though).

    If we used the mouse to look around as you proposed, how would we select objects, move bags around the screen etc? By having a toggle mouse-look thing?

    That could work only, and only depending how combat was implemented, like LB for attacking, using RB for defending/rolling or something like that... Otherwise, there is no reason to go that direction: right-clicking works much better (default in most MMOs).

    Select objects: Press 'q' etc to toggle a cursor.

    The difference is that all these Games switch to a ZQSD if an AZERTY Keyboard is detected, so a workaround like the proposed one is not needed

    Guys do what im doing, Go and Download Auto Hot Key. it allws you to remap keys by a script you make. its pretty simpe to.

    This is an example of how the script is coded.

    UP::W
    DOWN::S
    LEFT::A
    RIGHT:d
    Enter::e
    End::f
    Insert::Tab
    Numpad0::Shift
    RCtrl::LCtrl
    MButton::Space

    Trust me, this works like a charm.

    About 10% of the people are left handed, that means approximately 2,600 of the current backers...I'll spell it out for those who may not have gotten it.

    OVER TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED!!!

    That's how many of the people who paid to back this game can't play it...that's not including people with different keyboard configurations and or handicapped people.
    Hopefully this over site will be addressed by the next play test.
