Memory Leak on Steam Version?

    I know we are not fully optimized but this seems a bit high. This client has been running probably 5 days. The direct version of the program is the 2nd line and the steam version is the top line.

    I've been seeing that too. haven't tested the newest version yet though. Last time I ran SOTA, it seemed to me that it would consume memory as it loaded an area, but never release it. I figure the game must load assets and uses extra space for unpacking and similar operations, and is supposed to return the extra back to the OS. But it doesn't (or didn't).

    I have to wonder if the problem has to do with run-time linkage under MONO. That is, since Unity runs on top of the MONO platform, maybe there is a name-space issue where the wrong library gets selected on only certain installations. That kind of thing can happen when there is more than one library or module with the same name, and the reference to it is not specific enough to ensure that the correct one is selected.
