    So just to be clear for future players that might read this bug post. We are to drag the actual seed you wish to plant to your hot bar and activate the appropriate slot (1-0) to sow seeds (from my understanding). Hope this helps. thanks

    Yes, its done by putting the seed you want on the skillbar.

    Worth noting that my experience of this suggests you will end up losing seeds where some are already planted. Not sure if its a bug or not.

    EDIT: May have to test a bit more.

    I haven't seen that either. In fact, I specifically tested to see if any seeds would get lost when placing the circle over already planted (both fully grown mature plants and newly planted seeds) and I never lost any seeds at all. I carefully counted how many seeds I had, how many spots already had plantings, how many plantings there were after using the sowing seeds skill, and then how many seeds I had left in backpack. I tried several different times at different angles, etc. and never lost one seed.

    The only time that I thought I might have lost some seeds was when my planting circle actually went through my greenhouse and apparently included some planting spots in my adjacent greenhouse. I didn't think it was possible but it seems the walls of the greenhouse don't stop the planting skill... so perhaps that is how you thought you lost seeds @E n v y ?
