    I am posting this on behalf of another player @Rubelearl
    Starting the previous release (103), the demons at the Blackblade Mountain seem to deal significantly higher critical damages compared to the releases before.
    The player questions whether this change was intended, or was accidental.

    Is it possible something changed character, buff, or gear wise which might account for seeing higher damage? If not, this is probably better suited for 'askadev' in Universal Chat.

    FYI, between b1540 (R102) and b1543 (R103), Daemon Attack - Chaos Bolt got major overhaul.
    Damage Multipliers have increased from 1.25 to 3 (240%) or 5 (400%), with chaos mastery now affecting some of the damages as well.
    I assumed this was for summoned creatures, but this may be affecting the enemies as well.

    The question is, is the outcome (one player being able to comfortably fight demons in R102, unable to do so in R103/R104) working as intended ?

    I saw this as well previously, and was literally looking through the last 2 release notes and patch notes, and was reminded of it. At the time I thought it didn't apply since the attack name was different in the combat log .. but now I had a thought that perhaps both were child skills linked to the same parent skill, and it was the parent which got modified and not the individual children?


    This would be a good 'askadev' and then paste the link to this forum post?

    bcotton: I see the issue. The summoned daemon needs a separate skill from the creature one. I'm doing some creature skill work next release so i'll break out a new skill for the NPC daemon. SOTA-70716

    (and 1401 is a weird testing build anyway and nothing but the issue at hand should be checked on it.)
