    I was fighting a ghost today after the new patch and damn thing almost killed me .... my damage with longbow is crap ....whats going on ? Its a 350 hp mob not a dragon .

    This is related to the damage absorption fix that Chris mentioned in stream yesterday. Ghosts became much more sturdy as a result of that change. I suspect the forsaken ghost in Ruins of Ravensmoor gained a good boost in durability as well. The absorption thing was a universal thing. Thus every monster gained a level of sturdiness with the patch.

    In the first level of Etceter Crag mines and even with 109 Archery and near-100 with most other archery skills it's taking like 5 minutes to kill one ghost. 2 ghosts are almost impossible even with a water elemental at 80 and character level of 83.

    Now and then an extra-strong ghost spawns that heals faster than me and my elemental can damage. That means that another one spawns while still working on the Uber-ghost. I finally had to give up.

    Don't even want to think about what the third level would be like.

    Guess I'll get my gold ore from random plains encounters...

    I hear from my guild mates that Bow Critical Damage to Orange Pit Dragon is halved also (not small damages).

    Same issue. Ran out of mana fighting ghosts. Can barely take 2 at a time. Wont even attempt level three of Etcter Mines where so easy to get 4 ghosts at a time.

    That's from other nerfs to ranged that also went in this release.

    i usually just stab them to death, but i went to the envy angel's house yesterday, and two of those weak little things exhausted me. banish undead hasn't been affected by the change, though, so they were quickly dispatched after i gave up on the stabbing.

    The increased difficulty of ghosts might also have to do with the comet.

    I think it's this in build 1036: "Fixed damage absorption math for pets and NPCs" . Chris talked about it for about a minute in Friday's stream. I don't remember the segment, though.

    With a retoooling of my undead deck, I was able to make a successful run on level 1. But only level one - did not try level 2. Oddly, I came back with about the same amount of ore as going all the way to level 3.
    I had to stack my deck heavily with Banish Undead, Piercing Shot, Ring of Fire, Meteor Swarm and always keep my bow Ignited.

    Air Shield, Aetheric Feedback and Elysium Illumination with a water elem. So, perhaps with a deck reshuffle it's not too bad. Crag Mines don't really feel like a tier 5 now.

    Yes battling ghost at boreas, when you have 6 on you it is hard, running around to try and have them not reheal off you, killing them is taking a long time. I have six stack shots with range skills and it feels like I'm barely doing any damage. I'm seeing rediculous damage like 6s unless I land a crit and even then most don't go above 14 or so. It is only for the lucky 100+ crits that I'm able to kill them at all. By the time I clear a section at boreas, and want to farm, they spawn again since it took so damn long. Way too over powered or too under powered archery against them. They were always able to do a bit of dodge against archery, but never to this extent.

    Oh, and Purify Burst is very useful for the +20 Death Resistance.

    I cut through them a bit faster with ignite weapon.

    lol the ghosts are now realy buged in the t5 mine. the got to mouch ressi and now they have selfheal !!! for what you do that? Gold and Silver are now gowing to moon Prices if you Programm Bugs like that
