Mad Splatter: The Afternoon Tea Party! Next: 22 June 2025 at 1 PM NBT (North American central time)

I will welcome your sleepy person anytime Conjurer Dragon. You can always snooze in your chair at the tea table. No one would be rude enough to interrupt an afternoon nap!!

 

ah darn! we would definitely have announced this during the Player Events feature during NEWS ON THE HOUR! (and I'm sad to have missed it - alle)

 

Summer Time and the tea is Steeping
Come on by and have a sip and maybe a tipple
There's always a nibble available for those who are interested in cake
or cupcake
or both
There will be riddles and prizes for the quick-witted
and comfy chairs for those who wish to nap and nod.

Tea will be at three pm NBT

Just off the Boardwalk on M'Hul Island.

~Take the teleport to the Mad Splatter Tea Party near Boardwalk and walk along the beach. You will find us, or you will go the wrong way. We will wait.
~I will make a public group for those who need assistance to locate the tea tables.

 

We will be having our summer tea on the beach near the Boardwalk Markets in M'Hul Island. I am setting up a field to play games of GollyBall, and there will be a rulebook there this year.

 

Getting closer! Can't wait for tea time!

 

Will the rulebook be available a while earlier then the date so that one can read up the rules in time before the playdate?

 

There's no rule book yet CD. Just be patient and all will be revealed this Sunday!

If I manage to edit it to a point that I'm not cringing...yes. I'll try to set a copy of the rules at the tea tables so that we can go over the rules before we try to play. And with any luck the book will be there sometime today...I'm thinking late afternoon my time...so NBT about 4-5 p.m.

It's almost Tea Time!!

 

Lili Byrd, i like to thank you for yor wonderfull event. It was a pleasure to be there. At the lovely beach of M'Hul Island we had funny and sometimes difficult riddles and at least a new game in the game.
Thank you and all your helpers for your time and work.

Everyone is always welcome and the Jade Dragons want you all to enjoy this special event any way you wish. Food, various drinks, small prizes and this time a special event if you are inclined.

 

The Autumn tea adventure comes to an end. But the quest will still be available. You will no longer receive the set of books as a prize for finishing the quest. The books can be read in the Hall of Enquiry in Jade Valley and of course in the libraries of those brave adventurers who took part in the Autumn tea event.

Next is the Winter Tea. I am of course looking for the perfect winter spot to have tea and hot cocoa and cookies

 

You could ask Majoria. She has a keep in Wizard's Rest which is a winter biome.

 

Get ready for a snowball fight at the next tea party.

Especially to celebrate the joy of snowballs without the bitter cold of the Outlands.
Bring plenty of snowballs. (I don't have a big stockpile this year to share.)
We might have to make teams this time.
Aslinne Gradh will probably be available to play some harp or lute for us
(Unless there are bards or minstrels among the attendees that is...)
Dress warmly and expect snowballs
There will be food and drink
as well as games and small prizes
and well it's all about the fun isn't it?

Where's Walda will begin this year at the Winter Tea Party!!

Walda Walker's family have RSVP'd that they will attend the Jade Valley Winter Festival

and we all know what that means...Walda does tend to walk away doesn't she? Her family are
proactively asking for help to keep an eye out for her.

To encourage residents and visitors to help look out for Walda,
the Jade Dragons offer a big prize (yet to be determined)

At the end of the Winter Tea Party the contest will begin.
If you spot Walda Walker who will be wandering the wilds or town of Jade Valley
on town land only (she knows better than to enter private property)

please report to Lily Byrd either here, in the Walda Walker thread (yet to be revived...),
in game mail, or whisper if you see me online.

You will have to answer a question that only the person who found Walda will be able to answer.
If you answer correctly, your name will be entered into a draw for a prize that will be given out at
The Annual Jade Dragon's New Year's Eve Party at midnight NBT.

Each day Walda will be hidden in a different location.
You are welcome to try to find her each day
but only get one entry to the grand prize draw.
