    1. Title: Performance: Garbage Collection
    2. Reproducible? Yes, every 10-20 minutes
    3. Blocker? ?
    4. Details: After 10-30 minutes, the game will stutter for a second or two. This starts happening every 30 seconds or so and progressively gets worse until its happening every 10 seconds or so. I had a very similar problem with one of my own software programs years ago. Thought it was a memory leak but turned out to be related to garbage collection and this is exactly what it feels like. Restarting the client resolves the issue only for it to return 10-30 minutes later.
    5. Steps to Reproduce: Just play - going to multiple zones seems to accelerate the issue.
    6. User Specs: 64 GB RAM, Intel Xeon CPU, Radeon Pro Vega 64X GPU, error produced on both macOS Big Sure & Windows 10

I think you are referring to the hitching in the game? That I believe is still an issue with the Unity engine and the version we currently use.

Marking this for Dev. Review and tagging @Chris and @Ravalox .

Like Anpu said, the game does have a known issue of occasional "hitching" issues that have been traced to Unity. If I recall GC was mentioned before as a cause and something that has been tweaked in the past, and likely still being refined as game development continues.

@Oloo Quinn hitching in scenes *is* usually a garbage collection issue, as you noted, though you should not be seeing this occur to the degree you have indicated (every 30 seconds at 30 minutes).

Please reply with the below information so we can better determine why your rig is having this occur:

    1. Which scenes are you going to?
1a. If you were to play and try to make this happen, can you do it by switching back and forth between only two scenes over the 30 minutes?)

    2. What are your SotA video settings? (if you can attach a screen shot, that would be best)

    3. Specs:
    a. What is the type of HDD SotA is installed on?
    b. Which Xeon CPU?
    c. What resolution are you running at?
    d. Is this a laptop?
    e. What is the native OS?

    4. If you monitor resources:
    a. How much RAM is the rig using overall before launching SotA?
    a. How much RAM is SotA using at the start of play?
    b. How much RAM is SotA using when you start to experience chronic hitching?
    c. How much RAM is SotA using when you need to restart do to the frequency increase?
