[Submitted 66366] ''Save the Isabella" quest "Train in a skill"

I'm sorry for bad English, so.
I created new character, and my path is path of Love. In the first game location called bridge of Solace, there is a trainer-robot, who will let me go through magical barrier only if i will learn a skill from him.
But i can't do that! The only school availbable to look at, is ranged combat school. And every goddamn skill is grey. Is there a way to continue playing? Screens added.

 

Currently you do not pick a virtue path. Everyone starts in The Battle of Solace Bridge.

You must select and train one of those archer skills and then drag that archer skill you trained to your combat bar.

 

How can i select and train, if all of them are unavailable either already trained?

i've lured youtube for walkthrough's , and all of them are 2017 or earlier, none of videos include this robot, this seems to be kinda new addition.
i insist that quest is bugged

 

Are you using a new character or an older character?

 

I'm a novice to this game. New. And i cannot create second one, otherwise i'd try to make this quest with him.

 

Oh... It's an older character. Looks like, i created him in the end of 2018 on older bad PC, so, i deleted game before watching in the mirror of oracle (choosing face properties). Today i continued as a faceless shadow, created my bearded char and stuck here. So... Should i delete this one and create new?

 

You do not actually need to ever go in this scene. There’s nothing in this area that is related to the Main Quest.

I would do the following. Click Options and then click on Exit to Menu.

Then select start on Overland Map and continue on. No need to delete anything.

 

I have no such an option as start on world map. It is grey too.
I deleted my char and created new one.

 

Actually, from the screenshot, it looks like all you need to do is double-click on the gate to the right and continue ... Once you learn a skill from the automaton the magical barrier preventing passage through the gate is lifted and you can continue.

 

nah, you're wrong. i tried it.
the problem is, i gained skills during training with lil girl in the oracles forest. like tutorial.
which now is not existing.
and then i continued playing in second, modern "tutorial" in solace bridge, which contains this robot trainer for new characters without any skills learned.
as guy in previous post said - it just old character problem, so i deleted him and created new one.
