Frozen loading at 98% into Rift's End

    Yeah, I didn't remember that the IKSolverLookAt message is appearing also on successful loads to scenes. [EDIT] And uhm sorry the IKSolverLookAt message is actually just a warning message and not an error message.

    The following lines are missing from the output logs upon freezing at 98% on the loading screen:

    We just released a new build, 679, that we were hoping would have a fix for this issue, but after some internal testing, it doesn't seem likely that it does. Still, it would be useful to get reports about the issue on this build. We will likely also release another build later today with another attempted fix.

    The loading screen got frozen and the game became unresponsive at 98% of the loading screen.

    680 has now been publish. We have not been able to repro the issue internally on this build yet. This fix attempt involves turning off a performance optimization, so in addition to trying to reproduce the 98% loading hang, I would be interested in hearing any reports about framerate changes from previous builds, or the current live build.

    I have same problem in Virtue Oasis.
    - Tried taking off dread artifacts, no luck
    - Tried running another game at same time, no luck.

    Any news on a fix?

    More fixes are expected but no ETA just yet. Here are some things that have helped others (assuming another try doesn't let them in):
    Signing into another account first - which you may not have
    Changing in-game settings (from fastest to good, for example)
    Going to Overworld first, then zoning in. Assuming that hasn't been attempted yet..

    Sometimes another attempt will simply work, so that can skew the success rate of these 'workarounds'. But others have said they tried repeatedly and had the most success with changing in-game settings. Although unfortunately, that doesn't always work either.

    Hi @Lexie,

    Thanks for your response and update. I turned all video settings to lowest quality and it worked.

    Will test a few times to ensure it is trend. Will experiment more with higher settings when I get time. I don't mind using this work around until there is a fix.
