I have recently come to own a town lot deed, now I need to place a home on that barren piece of water/grass. My dilema is what to buy. The SoTA website has many choices but in the WTB/WTS forum there are founder, benefactor, etc homes for sale. Is there a website or a city you can recommend so I can see what all is out there? Lots of variety and I dont want buyers remorce.

Just build a single obelisk from blocks Washington monument style and put everything in your basement.

Or I think you can wander though the dev POT Hometown (?) and see the different houses. Not sure where it is though.

If you need a place to place your lot, I have plenty of space in Tempest Reef.

Oh that is wonderful. A village size is very nice. Enjoy but still don't hesitate to ask if you have questions anytime. I am happy to help.

Crendel - just checking - are you confident you can pay the 2000 Gold a day rent for a town lot? There’s no reason to doubt you but there have been some who have purchased a town deed & property with great enthusiasm only to be caught out be the prohibitive rent levels in this game. ‘Tis all part of a clever COTA-selling plan.

You can live in some towns for free. Lots of us have too many tax free deeds. Ask.

Takeing a stroll through HT is possibly the best solution.
Remember, you don't have to take a town home. You can take the smaller homes as well if you prefer one of them.

The lot is tax free and I was aware I could put a smaller house on the lot. Right now I want space and aesthetics. I am excited to move up from my "cramped" row lot;)

I picked up a village lot some time back.

They intend on reworking the lot rent costs... I believe this next release? Lowering them a bit, from what I understand.

Anyway... I really enjoy the castle like Knight Marshal Tower Keep, it's a bit imposing on a Village Lot, but it works nicely. I wish that there was some more 'vaulted' ceiling space in there, because I bought a hanging chandelier that... well, probably should only be used in a City Lot sized, massive home. Maybe I'll end up with one of those in the not to distant future with an account upgrade.

    Congratulations on getting that deed!
