Bear sightings ???

It could be certain times of the day or night?

 

All I wanna hear is confirmation about obsidian destroyer being in the game or not.

 

Many of us did pixel by pixel perimeter checks of that entire scene looking for a hidden passage, and killed and cycled the bear spawn for HOURS through every iteration of day, night, and in between.

Either they are not there (bugged), or there's some sort of set of conditions/trigger required for which there is no information (could be anything). - ie, stand in the center of the swamp at midnight under a full moon wearing a bear hat - could spawn a bear, yeah.

If it was something as straightforward as 'a bear should spawn here' someone would have found it. If it was a wave event, someone would have found it. If its a new area off any of the zones in vale, its exceptionally well hidden, because people have been swarming these scenes looking. I guess we'll hear the verdict when the team are back at work.

@Vero could you spell out the text in danisch of this song? In memorian to this i need to name my Osidian Destroyer the danish word for miracle. (when i finaly finde one to tame it -.-)

I stealthed all around inside the ruined keep for an hour or so and didnt find any passages in there.

Also tried killing beats all night. Large obsidians spawn more frequently at night but no additional bears.

Also tried full moon and new moon, but did not try new moon at midnight yet.

 

I think we need a full party of people to go do the hopak dance (its the dance the bears do, after all) wearing nothing but primal bear headdresses, stood in a circle on a full moon during that foggy/misty weather.
Then and only then will the sekret bear reveal itself.

 

Why do you guys assume because it's not always up, it's bugged? People were saying the same thing about unicorn recipes. I'm pretty sure it's not in any of the places you've been looking.

In the past the only place I remember a super rare spawn of Obsidian Bear in Hidden Vale was Mysterious Swamp over by the undead ruined building. Just check other places, I'm pretty sure they made it super rare so you guys would have to look all over for it.

 

The level of meticulous scene checking in the hidden vale in every scene only leaves the possibility that its a 0.01% spawn chance in 1 spot, theres an acorn under a rock you gotta double click on to enter a secret cave, or its the database shows it spawning but its not.

Might have buggily spawned way off map or underground somewhere too

Maybe theres a dev test map that looks exactly like the map it supposed to spawn in, but its spawning that that inaccessible test map

 

Can it be they confirmed another bear (or bears) to be in, not the destroyer one?

Where are the Ferocious Obsidian Patriarchs spawning?

 

At the moment I’ve only found the ferocious brown and the large obsidian bears, both at ruined keep

 

@Chrystoph Reis The thing is DS stated that there is a few that spawn in the scene with them, an not a single has been found.... by far I would have to say I spent well over 60 hours searching before I just gave up on game tell this bug is fixed so I just don't get more irritated an just ………. lol

 

Ferocious Patriarchs are in ulfhiem, i dont thing ferocious obsidians have been found yet.

Ferocious patriarch is currently the strongest tamed bear
