Hello there and welcome to the SotA community. I hope you are all well and finding your way around here on SotA. As you can see from fellow avatar responses in other threads, we're all willing to help you settle in and I sincerely hope you stick around.
It's never too early to get involved. Why? Even though SotA is in pre-alpha state, doesn't mean there isn't much to do in SotA. There's a bunch of stuff you can dive into currently and I'll just bullet point some ideas of what could potentially interest you. (feel free fellow avatars to add to the list).

    1. Talk with the community in the forums about anything and everything as well as keep up with updates.

Avatars circle is a great place to start to keep up to date with events, team-speak and know your way around Novia!

    2. Create novels, poetry, song lyrics, sonnets, journal entries, folk tales and short/long stories/role-play scenarios. There are normally contests going around and held by fellow avatars where you can win prizes (digital/physical prizes) and money. You can look up Scholars of Novia, Writers of the round table, Echoes from the caverns and Poets circle for a start if interested.

    3. Create music and get it put in game if it's desired!!! As well as unleashing your performing arts side and getting involved with the New Britannia Theater Troupe to take part in plays produced by fellow avatars or be part of the audience!

4.You can also get your work read out via Avatars Radio which is the main radio for SotA where they play a variety of awesome music, read out the communities work, announce special events and chat with the DJ's!

    5. Unleash your artistic side, whether it be drawing etc or designing via Unity (program used to design game levels, objects and other funky stuff) and get noticed!

https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?cat=14 (Unity tutorials if you really want to test your computer skills).

    6. Join particular guilds and meet up with people in game to do many activities, whether it's raids, crafting or simply hanging out. (I tend to hang out at Wody's bar in Kingsport. Great place to get yourself familiar and receive great help).

    7. Want to keep up with avatar news, make sure to check out the New Britannia Press.

    9. Most importantly, do your part and help out with the progression of the game. Whether it be finding bugs, reporting various errors/issues, suggestions and thoughts on future content or any other concerns/wishes! Remember they are still developing and your contribution will always be welcomed.

If you're interested in helping out further, you can also sign up to Pledges/stretch goals/add-ons which can be seen on the main site under "store".

Well, that's all I can currently come up with so far... probably thinking it's a bit too much ey? You'll get the hang of it :). Plus if you ever get stuck, just submit a thread and socialise in game!

I'm fairly new myself but I'm positive I have every reason to get involved.
    The best of luck!

Thank you. There's so much content out there, yet it can be hidden away from view sometimes. Please feel free to add any other suggestions.

There is a lot of content out there, and Captain Jack applauds your post. It could be the rum, but Captain Jack does see a common link between all of the links you have posted and hopes that you will keep this post edited, up to date, and revised to link the community to all of the other great content out there that isn't mostly from the same place too!

I'll do my best Cap'in Jack Sparrow. Just hope you won't be asking "why is the rum always gone?" anytime soon. Heh heh. I haven't got any unfortunately. Just a jar of dirt.

You're welcome. Slowly trying to make the thread easier to get around. Codings a bit tricky at the moment and trying to find a way to link the image to the pages so you can just click on the image. Please bare with my editing.

If anyone wishes me to add their page/ guild or any other sources of avatar interest., please let me know. I'd be more than happy to make new and fellow avatars aware of your content!
