Where are the Different Gems Found?

I know where to find:
Sapphires - Owl's Nest
Emeralds - Graff Gem Mine, Spectral Mines (dungeon area)
Garnets - Graff Gem Mine
Diamonds - Spectral Mines (dungeon area)

Where are the rest founds?
Rubies
Amethysts
Citrines
Onyxes

Garnet and sapphires - BlackBlade Pass
(There used to be an Onyx node in the lava area with the fire elementals many releases ago, but that was removed)

Edit: If you don't want to brave the lowest level of the Crag mines to get rubies, you can go into the Epitaph in Desolis. Down past the Troll, there is a large circular room with smaller rooms. In those smaller rooms are alchemy tables. Search the bags and one of them will contain two uncut rubies.

 

Has anyone ever seen an onyx mine this release????

 

I just made a video on Crag Mines and the gems available there hope you guys enjoy.

 

I don't think anyone has seen either Onyx or Citrine.

 

I am pretty sure they are not in game but as soon as they are I will try to get a video up about them.

 

There are "ruby shards" or something like that in a cave in Highvale, south of Resolute.

 

Sure would be nice if the Dev's would respond to tell us if the gems are actually in game, or if they didn't do what they said.. we are spending hours (well, I gave up looking ) trying to find certain gems that probably don't even exist.. but how do we know for sure?? I am a bit angered the dev's won't make sure their game works as specified.. then they almost ignore us as we scour the world for gems that probably don't even exist. What a waste of time on our part.. unpaid testers.. come on Port...

 

I actually think @DarkStarr is looking into this for us!

 

Those are not there in R26. At least they haven't been dropped the three times I've been through. So to me they are gone but it could be that they are just rarer drops.

He did say that he would.. last thursday.. just hoping he'd have had a chance to get back to us, he must have had a chance to check with whoever that the gems have been placed and are accessible.. a simple, "Yes, they are in there!" would make me happy.

 

Just keep in mind, it's a small team, doing a lot of stuff and there was a weekend in some of those days from Thursday to Monday.

 

Just got 3 rubies an 2 sapphires from epitaph just for reference along with two recipes one for tempest cut gem and sorcery cut gem

 

Nice. Hmm I wonder if there is a qualifier.

 

I don't know if there is but I know I ran this in the beginning of R26 to test and still got stuff from there. . . After dying a few times

I explored The Epitaph. I found recipes but no gem nodes.

 

There aren't any gem nodes no mining if you follow the path to the right at the bottom of the pit, you will end up in a room with something like a sacrifice alter in the middle of the room with pillars and 4 little alchemy stations in small rooms surrounding the room inside those rooms loot all the bags you "should" come across sapphires and/or rubies along with recipes and random junk inside of the "sacks" also note that this is subject to RNG so you may makeout like a bandit or you might have wasted the trip and come back up with a pile of creosote.


Edit: please note that it is possible that they have fixed or reduced the chance for these drops but, I know i just got these last night so I'm writing this off of personal experience

 

From reading some of the posts, it sounds like that the gem and recipes are random drops in the Epitaph. Still, worth dropping by.

Edit: I decided to drop by the Epitaph for a third time and this time found no gems, but I did find the two recipes. (I visited it twice previously and found the ruby gems). I will try again another day to see if I get any drops. Either this is very random, someone else grabbed them, or they aren't dropping anymore.
As a side note for those who are interested, in the room with the dragon skeleton, there is a level 2 alchemy table.
