What's your R32 master plan?

I know everyone is plotting right now, so I'm curious. What will you do first? Grind skills? Start crafting immediately? Decorate your house? Join a cartel? "Just play"?

Personally, I'm skipping everything else and going straight into mining. I already found a pretty sweet spot that isn't that well guarded.

Following you to that spot! Oh, did I just say that. Sorry, I was plotting out loud.

Building out a town, core skill leveling, craft leveling all seems to be in order for me.

But not overdoing any of it as development continues. Its hard to build a character when the skill system remains in flux.

 

Spoiler: Because someone reminded me of this the other day...

I'll be decorating my house for the final time. And being way more critical of my add-on purchases now that they'll be permanent.

 

Start building out Dawn's Keep, popping popcorn, and watching the inevitable drama in whatever form it takes unfold!

 

So you're pretty much admitting your purpose in life is to be a troll.

 

For me it's easy. I haven't played the game yet so I intend on logging in and learning how to play the game. I played the starting zone with the NPC that you talk to to choose your "Role" then thats about it. I've been waiting for final wipe before actually putting any time into the game.

I might even put ultima on hold for a few days to get the basics of this game.

 

Going to get my lot , place my house, lock all the doors, and hide in the basement till all the drama goes away.

 

Get to max adventure level as quickly as possible, before they further nerf/adjust XP rates. Just like every other game with similar mechanics.

 

@kristof - I beg to differ. I do not see it so much as judgmental as it is the variance of human nature. Then again I have experienced life in many different places and have met many many different people. After the shoes are taken off there are usually stinky feet no matter what opinion is held by the shoes. A community is only as strong as the people that make it. In la la land that is even more so. What is presented is not always what it seems. Everyone has an agenda, just depends on who ,what, and when it comes to light. I take all drama with a grain of salt, the wind can blow it away at any time. Also I know where the off button is on my keyboard should it ever get that bad.

 

I find it's much easier to wreck things when the adventure level is higher as well. At around level 60ish, I can play as chainmail mage wearing a staff and kill multiple mobs in level 5 skulls relatively easy despite most of my spell levels are under 80s.

I have to mine a lot of granite in order to make those castle walls, so yeah....

Phase 2: ?
Phase 3: Profit

But for realz tho. I am excited to find a place to set up by base of operations, decorate/ make it comfortable, and then on to adventuring. I am actually going to start looking for quests that were put in the game. I will "just play" for the most part after finding my plot of land. I haven't really played the game(or feel like I haven't, though Steam says I have over 100 hours into it), knowing that progress will be wiped.

Oh yeah, my plan is to grind lower levels for the LAST time, ever!

 

LOL, there's no "final time" and you know it.

 

1: Create several characters.
2: Place lots
3: Play, mine, chop wood and otherwise build a town.
4: Beg a friend to help decorate.

Have three weeks off after final wipe and spending every bit of it mining and helping out the new guildies... Heaven.
