    Title: Are taxes not working properly in POTs? (Houses fell)
    Reproduction Rate: Unsure
    Blocker? Kinda
    Details:
    - On 08/26/16 I paid taxes on 2 taxable village lots in Falling Waters Fortress;
    - I thought for certain I had paid enough to cover both lots for an entire real-world month;
    - I put up houses, put deco in both houses;
    - Today I logged in [this is an alt account of mine] and both houses had fallen;
    - The message I received told me that they had fallen due to unpaid taxes;
    - The lot was still assigned to me:
    [IMG]

    - When I went to reclaim the lot, it did not show that I owed any back taxes:

    - When I clicked "Claim Lot" it gave me an error message:
    [IMG]
    - Note that in the image above, it does *not* show that any taxes are due on the lot deed.
    Steps to Reproduce: Not sure
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8) System RAM: 16299
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 GPU RAM: 2016
    SotA.EarlyAccess.Win.64.480.Date.09.07.16
    Area: POT_forest_metropolis_01a_template
    Loc: (-430.7, 65.0, -189.4)

    P.S. I went back in at my guild leader's urging to try it again. It then allowed me to claim the lots - without paying any "back taxes."
    -- So why did they fall?

    According to our logs, the plots expired due to taxes on September 9th, which is 14 days after you claimed. Seeing as how you have a lot of tax credit, I have a theory about what happened. I think perhaps you added gold to your tax credit, rather than using the "Pay Lot Taxes" button, which assigns gold to be used for an individual lot. So, the lots expired after 14 days, as that is the default amount of time you get. Then, the past due amount from those 14 days was subtracted from your Tax Credit, but you still have a positive balance.

    So, just to be clear, you must select the lot in the list, and click the "Pay Lot Taxes" button to apply gold or tax credit to the individual lot.

    Ahah! That could be then. Yeah, that was very early on and I was juggling several lots, most of which are (thankfully) tax free. Since then I have not had an issue, although I've been keeping a close eye on it, lol.

    Thank you for figuring that out!

    Oh and @DarkStarr @BurningToad it is so difficult to figure out which lot is which. It scares you to death to think you will select the wrong lot to take down, like for example our crafting pavilion which took a lot of time to put together like we want it, but it is labeled the same as any other lot so hmmm which lot do we take down and then in the end we don't take any down, just to make sure we don't take the pavilion lot down on accident. Sorry for going off topic, but it is part of knowing which lot is lot from the 'u' key. ;)

    Yeah, that is a problem. We have meant to address it by being able to add a custom label to your lot, and we may still do that in the future. However, for now, you can also unclaim lots from the house sign by clicking the gear icon to the top right when you open the lot sign UI. Or, in a PoT, you could have the owner or a steward evict the lot from the house sign. Would that solve the problem for now?
