    The title says it.

What is more important to you? That you can decorate your house everywhere or that there are deep and meaningful quests with epic storylines in the game in which NPCs can die, cities can burn down etc.? Is housing more important than showing real and lasting consequences to our choices and actions?

Also, while I really like that last picture of everything being blown up....I think you are taking the "epic consequences" a bit too seriously. :) I mean, with expectations like that, we are all bound to be disappointed. BTW, I voted consequences.

    Both.

But as said 100 .. 1000x times now. Quests and that stuff are still coming.. Untill they are done and say.. this is waht you got.. im not going to sit here and complain about lack of longterm consequences.. till there isnt.
Dont see why they cant do both.

As for constantly making fun of that kinda decoration.. i think its hilarious.
The whole enjoyment part of housing is customizing. Id rather see some random silly ones here and there that make me laugh then everyone being super serious and proffesional..
I mean .. it is still a game.
Immersion in a game is important, but so is enjoyment.

I think you're missing part of the bigger picture - both things are being worked on.

you have devs that are paid to make things like decs and housing and devs that are paid to produce the storylines and the coding that goes with that... they're both working on their jobs - you're just seeing the results from one section of the dev team at the moment.. the rest is on the way.

and it's not as easy as saying 'put everyone on story writing duty'... think of it this way: you have dentists and brain surgeons - both individually skilled jobs, but you wouldn't want your dentist operating on your brain...

It's more about the devs saying that it is not possible to create instances of housing zones so that consequences can be shown.

A world with lots of snowmen and no consequences sounds pretty fun to me.

apologies, I misunderstood your post, thought you were saying 'it's taking too long to build the story, but they're still making things to sell'

your point is that it should be possible for perma damage to housing and towns etc...

Especially for a storydriven RPG with a single-player narrative and choices with consequences as SotA is described on the website ;)

I think most would rather play an action game than a decoration simulator.

I've said it many times. Looking at that image you posted, I would prefer our 3D molders not be working on snowman, fans, instruments, umbrellas, goofy emotes and be working to model things like:

New houses (yes Im fine with that)
    New NPC types
    New Armor types
    New wep types
    Massive increase in mob diversity:
Mages that do more then fireballs
    Bats
    Crabs
    Goats
    Hawks
    Lizards
    Owl
    Rats
    Kastiff
    Mule
    Poisnous snake
    Stirge
    Drow
    panther
    Ape
    Gnole
    Orc
    Shadow
    Swarm of insects
    Worg
    Ghoul
    Bugbear
    Hippogriff
    Lord Voldemort
    Imp
    Specter
    Centar
    Whyrmling
    shark
    Nothic
    Ogre Zombie
    Sea Hag
    Soined Devil
    Demon
    Basilisk
    The T-1000 terminator
    Hell Hound
    Mummy
    owlbear
    Ettin
    Gorgon
    Troll
    umber hulk
    Medusa
    Wyvern

And those are just a few of thousands of mobs you can find in an average D&D game.

Shrug, it's not like polls like this have any influence on what's prioritized in development. The only thing that matters is what players actually do in game, something I'm sure even port bothered to log. What random people that may or may not even actually be actively playing their game say on a forum is meaningless but... cool I guess.
