When is Collectors Edition Box being sent out?

I paid $275 years ago for the Ancestor Pledge, which includes the Phsyical Collectors Edition box and all other rewards. I would just like to know when I can expect this to be sent out? Thankyou.

 

I imagine, when the game is officially released.

 

As someone late to the initial Kickstarter are all the copies taken or will there be more up for grabs?

Also was the game always supposed to get physical copies or was it ever just going to be digital?

 

Man can't wait to get my stuff.

I've heard the dev's reference Q2 and Q4 for release. I would expect to see mine by Xmas next year. Honestly, while I was unhappy that they weren't transparent in Q3/Q4 last year that the game was not going to make it by Q4 2016. I am actually fine that they delayed it, even to Q4 2017. Im in the game now and I am able to empire build so I am happy. Im fine with waiting for "commercial release" to get all the story line finished, content built and buggs fixed.

 

We have a lot ahead of us before we consider a Collector's Edition, but I always buy those when I get a game, so it's a great idea!

 

I think you might have misinterpreted the original question. He was referring to the rewards that were already included with his pledge, possibly including:

COLLECTOR

Get the full experience with the Shroud of the Avatar Collector’s Edition! In addition to the cloth map, you also receive a physical copy of the Runic Language Translation Print and an official Collector’s Coin.


and asking when he can expect delivery of said items.

 

I don't believe the game will ever deliver actual physical copies. The kickstarter rewards detail physical rewards (maps, books, etc etc) but not actual discs containing SotA.

Not that I'm aware of anyway.

 

I feel the need to gently remind Portalarium that when they do eventually ship the 'material' rewards, they will attract customs charges for a lot of us outside the US, and those will be based on what Portalarium state the value of the goods in the parcel are - so please, put a sensible value on them and don't simply quote the pledge amounts we paid on the customs documentation. I'm happy paying the correct amount for their value, but not paying, say, 20% of a $1,000 or more total pledge

The $125 Explorer pledge shows "recorded media game" and "recorded media soundtrack" in the rewards.

 

It's funny, now that I go back and look at all the pledges, I don't really see any physical rewards. Although at the time I pledged (I think it was July Or August 2015) I was 200% sure I was getting a cloth map and game box. Funny.

It depends. If you pledged $125 (Explorer) or higher on kickstarter, there was a collectors box along with other physical items

This question keeps coming up, but I haven't yet seen any information from Portalarium to relieve the worries of players living abroad. My solution was to enter the address of a friend living in the US on my account page (assuming that we will get together in person at some point). I know that not everyone has that option though.
