    I feel like I did in 1992 when my now deceased ex-husband said "if you want to play this game, I can make you a boot disk to get it to run on your computer (that he had built for me)." I guess he got tired of me sitting on a chair next to him watching him play U7.

    And thus began one of the greatest pleasures of my life: gaming.

    I have had many adventures in foreign lands with my avatar Rhiannon. But none as grand as Ultima.

    And this humble mage is as excited as she was in 1992 when the computer booted up Ultima VII and that scary red face popped out on the screen.

    Looking forward to where our adventures take us!

    Sorry for you loss Rhiannon! I am sure he was a great guy (well, he loved Ultima!)

    Yeah the Ultima 7 intro was amazing. Not in a action-in-your-face way, but the mood it set was perfect. To this day it sometimes randomly pops into my head and I feel the urge to play U7 again ;)

    I think it would be great if First Responders were given a unique in-game/forum title for being the first to financially support the game. Regardless, I still remember playing Ultima Online Renaissance and can't wait to play Shroud of the Avatar!

    I'm so glad all these classic designers such as yourself and Chris Roberts are coming across this new age of gaming with Crowdsourcing. Some brilliant franchises and games are coming to fruition.

    Finally we'll have something more creative than Call of Duty 7 Modern Warfare 8 Black Ops 3 Zombie Revenge....

    I'm happy to be part of this ambitioned project, also only a 'small' part :). I need to call it project (for myself) because i am very disappointed about so called game developments last years. Better good realised projects than bad released games ;).

    It's weird, I saw all these old genres and game series getting reinvented and dusted off on kickstarter, but it never occurred to me that Ultima would return... it was SO awesome when I heard :) Very glad to see it, and hope it'll be as good as Ultima V :) Wait no: better of course :)
