The new standard in Crafting websites...

yes, there is a slight delay while the query runs and returns your recipes. Our query probably could use a bit of tweaking, however this is mostly caused by our current hosting level. As we find more and more people willing to become patrons we will raise our hosting level to higher and higher tiers. If I recall correctly, the SQL hosting level we actually need is going to cost about $120 per week. Once we hit that patreon goal the tool will become MUCH snappier.

 

@Alcedes I like the tool and hope it expands very soon but it still doesn't show me all the raw materials required although it's closer to what I want.

Have a tooltip on each item (possibly with a link to a page) for the recipe of the items. I imagine even the tools and crafting stations will be craftable as well. Anyways thanks for the hard work I look forward to the new features.

 

the"shopping list" is coming soon. It will break everything down as far as it can be..all the way down to raw cotton, ore, etc..

our algorithmic issues with the material properties is proving troublesome. Without it we cannot get our full shopping list. Ghost seems to think he has figured this issue out as of about 9pm last nite. He is confident we will be able to update the tool today or tonight. Bare with us a little longer.

Hey @Alcedes your sotaqm.com site has been offline for a while now, any plans to get it back up? I loved that site!!! I think it was the most useful SOTA crafting site for armor & weapons.

 

THe issue is/was support. It fell short of the min req to keep it up. But last time I talked to him he said he was gonna get it back up

 

We are stilling trying to find volunteers to fund the site. It costs about $54 per month to keep it alive.

Sounds like you are hosting at the wrong site unless there are some special requirements for the site?

 

yes, there are special requirements for the site.

 

An application such as this would no be a simple $5 or $20 GoDaddy site. Especially once it reaches final production status. I have customers that require 4 servers load balanced with 8cores, 16GB RAM (each) and Flash storage just to serve ONE website. Granted, they have tons of dynamic DB queries going on at once from 100's or even 1000's of logged in users simultaneously.

 

and it's nolonger up. Such a Shame. I liked it.
