BEAST Liches in Etceter Craig Mines!!!

    Ok so I go to mine for gold in Etceter Crag Mines and I come up agains Lord NyRond which has his normal 1200HP and now there is Elrin Nayer who has 12k+!! Now I need find another spot because this was the ONLY good mine to get gold in.

    For clarification - is it even possible to take a party to the Crags mine? (I didn't think it was...)

    If so, then the DOD (degree of difficulty) just went up. A lot. To get significant resources we will have to organise mining parties. Pain in the butt, but doable I guess. If not, then this is the Mother Of All Bad Ideas. Putting a group level Mob in an area that you have to traverse solo is just insane.

    Please rethink this guys...….

    I have no problem getting to the gold below Nyrond even with Elrin there by myself.

    DarkStarr mentioned in the forums the Aether Lich was to be removed. I'm guessing they haven't got around to it yet.

    That Lich is a powerful boss with more HP than Torc!

    Yes, I can as well. But the fact is, we used to be able to kill Nyrond before, then only have to deal with respawing skellies and ghosts to mine ALL the chambers of this level.

    Now if you are solo, you have to try to dodge the one-shot kills every time you have to pass through that room to get to the chambers.

    I'm all for having this cool new group content in game, but it really doesn't belong in a mine which is typically a solo player thing to do.

    There is only one small section of ore in that room anyway. If you don't do the puzzle then the room doesn't open up. Just avoid the room and take the rest of the gold in the area.

    The room itself has 4 gold nodes, the hidden cave within has 4 gold nodes, the 4 th floor has 2 gold nodes plus the 16 new gold nodes that came in exchange for Elysium Mines.
    That single mob is blocking access to almost 50% of the gold in the crag mines.

    I really cant believe it...

    I would like to know who is responsible for such a bad decision that angers almost everyone… for nothing, there are other places like Deep Ravenswood where people can hunt this mob. Ridiculous !
