    Good evening SOTA community,

Could someone explain how the Eternal Pattern works? I got a set of armor that I absolutely love and it says I get an eternal pattern if I salvage it. Once I salvage it how do I make other items look like my original armor and how many times can I use the eternal pattern?

Thank you for any help and I look forward to seeing you all in-game :)

The eternal patterns only work on specific types of items they can be applied to.

Like the Aether Longbow pattern can’t be applied to a Crossbow.

Is there something specific you want to add a pattern to?

I think the best explanation and guide you will get is from the player instructions help file:

    published player instructions

You can also access this help ingame by clicking the help icon on the top right of screen

On the crafting stations (tailor for light armour, blacksmith for heavy armour ), you can use the re-shape recipe to apply a pattern to your armour.
You can only apply a related pattern. (ie plate pattern to a plate armour)
Eternal Patterns can be recycled forever, but only 1 armour at a time.

    Hope this helps.

Make sure you have the pattern in your inventory when you click on the reshape and also it tries to place the wrong items sometimes to reshape. So make sure you have it all in your inventory. Then click craft and yay you have changed the look of your item. ;)
