Please make the positions of the orbiting bodies and constellations affect crafting.
This was part of the long term plan, see reference below. Is it still on the list for future improvements?

Ideas for how it could work:
    - Smelting certain ingot types could give increased yield depending on the positions of certain orbiting bodies and/or constellations.
    - Masterworks and enchants could apply stronger or unique buffs when the constellations are in certain positions.
    - Masterworks and enchants could apply double effect buffs during alignments.

Astronomy & Calendar: The sky above is now filled with a full system of celestial mechanics, including 10 orbital bodies and a constellation-filled star field. All of these move independently and will generate phases, eclipses and multiple alignment events. These are all tied to a calendar that has a direct ratio to actual Earth time (see below). Our long term plan is to use all of this data in game play. For example, there may be certain attributes that can only be added to crafted items when Deceit is in the constellation of Chaos.

As interesting as this sounds, please no. I have a hard enough time making "good" equipment as it is, I dont want to be doing something then "DING" rush back home and masterwork gear for 20 min or so while "masterworking" is in effect.

Well if the only choices that exist from the devs point of view is to leave things as hard to make as they are, or to leave things as they are but give players extra control through mechanisms that not everyone will choose to do, because not everyone has to do everything that's available in the game if they don't want to, then the second doesn't sound like such a bad option.

This could make it easier to make "good" equipment by replacing randomness with guaranteed results at certain times.

It would add an arbitrary time sink to crafting which really doesn't need to be made more difficult.

why not put a higher tier forge or something in the town siege scenes? Gives something extra when masterworking.
