Awesome question. T-hunting in UO was a fun past time when you needed something to do. Players even had toons dedicated to t-hunting. I hope to see this in SotA.

I love the treasure hunt! As it is implemented, a bunch of options. Treasure map. Chests with some chance of mobs that you need to open a lock pick. Find the treasure in the chain of quests. Dig treasure mining resources. Catch treasures in the sea. I hope something of the above will be in the game. I hope very much!

Add me to the list of people who enjoyed doing this in the past and who look forward to doing it again in SotA.

This doesn't appear to be a skill in the crafting tree for SotA, nor a promised feature for Episode 1.

If we don't get it in Episode 1, maybe it can be added with Episode 2.

I thought the treasure maps were a good addition, I just would prefer them to be in completely random locations instead of a handful of preset locations. In UO, treasure hunters had marked runes for all the potential locations so it really wasn't much of a hunt. With improvements it could be a lot of fun though.

It wasnt until 2010 that I started to do treasure hunts. At this point EA had changed the maps to be at a random location which made it quite fun. Sometimes it took quite some time to find the right place. ;)

Loved treasure maps, and getting to explore around new areas for cool stuff. I definitely want to see that stuff in-game. :D

I'd love to see it, but it isn't an advertised/promised feature at this point, it isn't in the skill trees/wheels we've seen, and the devs said they're trying to avoid feature creep. I'm guessing that as much as we want to see it, it won't happen in Episode 1.

    Maybe Episode 2?

It would be interesting if there where quests to find artifacts - no real value - just for those folks that like to discover oddities or are really into anthropology :)

I think they will sneak it in. The in-game maps that Stephen has been working on is going to be the basis for this in some way. It might not be extensive or deep as we'd like but I think we'll see some basic treasure type quests in Ep1.
