Bodhbh Dearg Discord account hacked

My Discord account has been hacked. If anyone has me as a friend or is in a server with me on Discord, it's not me, unless I post in this thread that it has been resolved!

 

So sorry to hear you got hacked. I've had that happen before. It is very frustrating and scary to be invaded like that. Shame on you hackers. Not sure of the reasoning behind it sometimes when it is fairly easy just to get your own account. I understand it better for example on my world of Warcraft account. I had left the game and was not subscribing any longer when a friend messaged me that he saw my characters running around. When he said hello there was no response.

One thing I can say is Blizzard was extremely wonderful about it. Got all my items and characters back plus gave me a little extra if I recall correctly. All this for an ex-player.

Anyway oops to go on and on. I wish you the best to getting this resolved.

I got hacked on twitch too and that experience was not so favorable.

 

Yeah, I opened a ticket with Discord... Let's wait and see... Luckily none of my passwords match any others...

 

I just retrieved my account with the (painfully slow) support of Discord... Guess I'll be re-building my server-list, unless they can (painfully slowly) help me retrieve that list...

They logged me out of 90% of the servers I was in...

They also gifted a $99 Nitro gift sub to someone using the payment info tied to my account for my own Nitro sub (I think it is weird that they allow the same payment method to be used for both!)

What are you sorry to hear? That it got hacked or that I got it back?

 

I am sorry to hear you had to go through all of this trouble just to get your account back.

 

I obviously knew that, I was just pulling your leg... At least I am back, but still trying to recover my server list...

 

Anything the Republic can do for you on this?

 

The only thing that would help me speed things up is if you can share discord server invites for the misc. Republic/Alliance related Discord servers, so I can rejoin them?
