Most expensive item in the game

I was just sitting here and wondering.... what the most valuable (which could obviously be very debatable) single item in the game right now. Would it be a rare or an amazing crafted piece that beat the odds? I'm thinking it's an expensive craftable item with no falls and 4/5 or 5/5 maybe something even crazier?

That's the obvious rare, wonder how much one would sell for right now.

I guess im more interested in crafted items. Anyone got anything juicy they think might be up there?

 

I think that would depend on the player. For instance, someone who insists on collecting super rare items that were actually made to no longer generate like the wooden chests that we can craft. Those were able to be bought from NPC merchants at launch. They have no maker's mark on them. Or, there is a key that is now marked as "worthless old key". That was where two separate keys were generated for a gate in a mine. They renamed it and then actually ended up redoing the whole scene to remove the mine section.

So, rarity vs rare power.

Otherwise, I would agree the most valuable thing in game is a Founder Castle tax free lot deed.

 

Yeah I think most things will be pretty speculative when it comes to actual prices. But those are very cool examples of how different players will value different things, definitely agree with you there.

 

What about the item from the blood Reliquary that turns you towns water red?

The wax cylinders from various activities are currently the few rarest items in the game. For now.

 

My favorite rare is the Goessemer Cloak. It's so special and unique. So of course value is an indidual perception. Unless it's the monetary value being discussed and things such as the castle tax-free deeds, player owned towns etc could qualify.

 

Seedinvest: 1,2 and 3

• GOLDEN ROWHOUSE GREENHOUSE

These are by far, the rarest things in our game
There are other golden rares, but these are the most sought after...

... and certainly the most expensive...
The golden airship has never been up for sale that I know of.

Aquarium Dungeon room is very rare too and special

 

Though I don't know how you could sell one without transferring the onus of having bought it in the first place. It's like trying to sell a limited-edition one-of-a-kind gold-plated t-shirt with the slogan "I'm with stupid" and an arrow pointing up. The rarity ensures it is worth a lot, but the implication is going to dampen the enthusiasm of any buyer.

 

Golden Obsidian City? I saw one ingame, maybe its even more rare then kobold one ?

I think the LOTI items are the rarest as there is what only 7 of them out there? There are a lot more golden items I think from see investors and Castles are pretty cheap these days. there is also the oracle spider painting which is also extremely rare.

I saw a "golden Gothic" for sale recently ingame for around 17 million gold. I'm unsure where these golden "whatever" came from, as I only bought in enough to get the greenhouse, yet with two suits of armor.

I now have 3 golden greenhouses, catching them as they went on re-sale, and I can say I got a really good deal for the other two to go along with my original.

The Golden Greenhouses have unique properties about them that no other row greenhouses have, different ways of hanging things from the ceilings and such.
As for the Golden Armor, their helm have unique properties that no other Lord British Helms have.

I would say that they were stupid to pass up when they were offered at such a low price which included the seedinvest stocks, yet those stocks were not the value, the deals value was always in the rare objects which are "outright owned with their uniqueness which can never be changed through reprograming", due to the way they were sold as the unique items they are.

Many people do not know off all the unique features all the seedinvest items have, other than their golden apearances.

Drop by "The Time Tunnel" sometime and check out the top floor of the golden greenhouse you find there, to see just a little of what can be done which no other greenhouses can do.

For some people and their eye for rare or not, the rewards were not worth it, because they looked to the stock as being the value, instead of buying for the rare items and not caring about the stocks.
Now anyone owning any of the seedinvest rares can sell the rares to recoup a good portion their losses, while the rest of us still trade in the rares.

Whatever else is rare in our game is not so rare, because those items will eventually be sold again, yet in a heritage/vault replica edition, while the seedinvest rares will never be sold new again or as vault replica items.

I can now make more through selling my greenhouses than the stock was purchased for, because 2 other players sold their's cheap and another player sold those two to me.

The only other rare I have is an original Cabinet of Virtue, which is now something a player can get through the Vault in replica.
