It has been long a nuisance to me that especially summoned pets are so little aggressive and can't taunt.
An example: I was mining today. I saw a satyr archer in the distance so I sent my skeleton to deal with it. My skeleton attacks the satyr and does damage, but still the satyr is advancing towards me. The satyr is almost dead and STILL it manages to attack me with an arrow and interrupt my mining.

Please give us something to increase taunt power/aggressiveness of summoned pets. I was thinking of pet gear (or new ingredients for pet gear), but other options are fine also, of course :)

You could use a Creepy Dolly on your avatar. Reduces Aggro on you. Or one of the skills that reduces your aggro (Escape in the Light Armour school).

I don't know of any offhand item that reduces aggro. Ring of the Mouse does, but I don't want to sacrifice my mining jewelry.
Also, when I'm mining I can't use skills, so Escape is no option either.

I don't think the OP asked for a workaround. Their wishlist request is very clear: make it possible for summoned pets to catch aggro in a useful way while gathering.

I fully support this wishlist request.

/agree (retracted - a tamed pet doesn't choose when to aggro)

Disagree. The solution is not to make summoned pets like tamed pets.

The solution is to use tamed pets instead. :)

I already mentioned it in my post but here it is again:

You can use skills before mining a node.

He is right. A tamed pet shouldn't choose when to aggro.

I agree. The same thing happens when I use my summoned or my tamed pets. I order it to attack a creature that isnt aware of me. The creature completely ignores my pet and rushes straight to or starts shooting at me often ignoring my pet until it's killed by the pet while all Im trying to do is mine a tree.

Mining a tree is such an abuse of skills that all creatures abhor the avatars who dare to do so. It´s is almost as horrible as fishing ore, growing barrels or lumberjacking oremines.

A pickaxe will only poke holes on a tree!

That reminds me of a similar quote from the old horror movie "Das Ding aus einer anderen Welt" (blackwhite).
"It´s a plant. Shooting it will only poke holes in it..."
