Hi all Me and Bleubelle have decided to create a fansite for Shroud of the Avatar (will be a long term project). However I seem to have ran into a little annoyance and wondered if anyone knew the answer, sorry did not know where else to post this, but here goes, when we view the site on Bleubelle's PC via Google Chrome or Internet Explorer its fine, on my PC when I look at it with Internet Explorer its fine, but... when i try and look at it with Google Chrome it cuts off a large portion from the left and right, anyone know how to fix this please ? We would be greatly appreciative. Thanks
It would be hard to tell without seeing the site. If you can post a link to the site I can look at it in IE and Chrome.
What is your ingame name, I would prefer to not post it on here just yet as we have not done much at all to it So I will message you ingame if that is possible? Although I do not think it has anything to do with the webpage we made cause it works perfectly on Bleubelle's Chrome.
It could be that you have different versions of Chrome or that you have different resolution monitors. I'm not logged into the game at the moment but my in game name is "Erik O'Connor". Or you can send me the link privately in a PM here on the forums.
I recommend to use wordpress blogs for things like that. They have a nice compability with all browsers afaik.
Wordpress is perhaps the single simplest way to launch a site. FWIW, ShroudoftheAvatar.com is powered by Wordpress.
Yeah most bloglike pages are WP. It's a nice tool. Easy to work with. Though a bit unflexible sometimes.
We signed up to Wix last night and bought a Domain name also, so we want to stick with that really Also I really dont think its anything to do with Wix, cause it works perfectly on other peoples PC's with Chrome, but mine loads up with a large portion missing from the left and right of the screen, yet works fine for me in IE. Tearing my hair out here.....
Ill contact u and take a look as soon as i can. Sending myself a reminder. Im pretty behind right now but finally can start catching up. So hopefully soon but within a week or two. If u get help before i can, no worries and sorry to be a bit slow! 2 months of backlog to get caught up on.
Thankyou Someone is attempting to help me with it at the moment, but they are also finding it very puzzling. My workaround right now is to use Firefox, I just don't want to permanently use it
