    I would like to build an in game publishing house, if anybody would be willing to sell or trade their printing presses from pledge rewards please contact me (assuming we can do so).

    Not the best picture of it. But this is what I was thinking. It would be a good bit of work to do, but at least I have the benefit of being able to measure out the parts. I might be able to animate it, but I am not sure. The below picture does not show the rollers because I only take those out when printing.

    I fear if they allowed images, people would use copyrighted and/or obscene images.

    Whats to keep people from writing raunchy novellas?

    Maybe there can be a mechanism to screen images that are uploaded and go thru approval.

    It is easier to insert a dirty image than write smut fiction, and people react differently to text than they do images.

    I agree with your sentiment, most websites that allow photos have some sort of approval system for images, same goes for Facebook, etc. A process can be put into place that makes such inappropriate images or copy written works are not used.

    While the in-game books support pictures to some degree (e.g. recipe book), it is highly unlikely they will offer players the same facility when creating (and publishing) books in-game. There are technical issues around importing and distributing imagery for books that likely isn't a priority to solve right now.

    But yeah, I think your idea is great and would love to see illustrated books in the game...at some point.
