Please go play the game already!

Not only is R14 ready for to play, it going to take forever to wade through all the posts I missed while I was playing today.

I'm an old-school MMO player at heart and without the ability to have a home base that I can work out of, craft, and store stuff in, my interest is pretty much zero. Also, not being able to test and provide feedback on features I feel are most important to me contributes to my apathy around testing other less important features.

I'll check back when the ArcheAge-style housing plot experiment is over.

 

We'll see you at launch, then... as that is when they will roll out selection in waves rather than free for all.

 

I would hope that in times like this, the guilds would organize their mates to ensure each has what they need to have fun. Regardless, this just testing and the next wipe could be only 30 days away.

 

He does have a point though, how do we test these features if the same people get the lots all the time? Or, if you can't really use the lots at all to give feed back?

Perhaps adding some ttemporary test beds of lots just to get as many people using them as possible is a solution.

 

I wish. I, too, am at work. That being said, I brought my monster travel laptop to work, took a *very* early lunch at 10:30, and ran around and claimed lots. Can't wait to get home tonight to be able to actually play! In the meantime, I apologize to others who might run past my currently-empty-but-claimed lots.

 

Did you say claimed "lots" as in plural?

 

I believe three is the limit....two too many.

I have 2 accounts, so I claimed with both.

They have said that each account can claim up to 3 lots now, but I did not claim 3 lots per account. I just used my tax free lot deeds.

Also, FYI, the devs have said that if all of the housing lots get claimed, they would add more small villages throughout the land. So there are lots about, just in the other villages!

It's too bad onlya few will actually providing feedback on this feature.

I resolved the issue. I upped my pledge to Citizen.

This is how much faith I have in this game. I just spent another $275 dollars so I can test the housing system.

I guess my children are going to have to eat cat food for dinner....again... ;-)

Ok, thanks for going to play. I have finally caught up with the posts after 2.5 hours.

have catfood in the game since we have cat pets we can have, but he could have been joking lol I
am so excited about this game too. I don't think we are seeing much yet, but imagine the role play
if you like that. So if you want to craft you'll have to earn cash. That's what I'm about ready to do.
I have on plate armor and am about ready to dig in and go kill bears to make leather armor chests to sell.
