    Video is low quality. Bad spelling. No sound. But you will learn a 2000 gp / 2000 exp loop!

    Thanks Kvow, that is awesome! I tried it and it does work. Also - only a short run, but I found that staying in the second area, across the second stream, seems to work just as well. You drop the elf fighter with the cool sword, then a few other guys rush you; as long as you drop them the next fighter along will also have a cool sword.
    I smell a nerf coming ....................

    personally I wear my freebie sword from the blacksmith until it breaks and I wear my augmented plate till it breaks then I sell it all back and buy anew set, not exactly optimal gameplay, but its really the only viable method now

    Repair kits: 200 gold a pop. that's 1000 gold to fully repair one piece of armor from 0 to 100, and 4000 to repair a 4-piece set of augmented leather (I don't wear the helmet).

    I can buy a completely new set from the vendor in Owl's Head for 384 gold.

    Let's see, spend 4000 gold to repair or 384 gold to buy a new set. I'm not a math wiz, but...

    Yeah, pretty pathetic at the moment.

    I started with founder gear, repaired it till I couldn't afford to anymore then swapped to my royal founder gear. Had to buy a battle spear since I can't seem to make one.

    Go into Blackblade pass and find the cave with a full set of bronze chain (secret wall). It's has excellent properties for a free suit that you can get over and over.
    I also take the 2 handed founder axe laying on the counter of the owl's head blacksmith shop.
    Full set of 2-handed gear with no cost.

    Your math is off a little bit in that 4 hides gives you 2 leather. It takes 100 hides to make one chest piece, which is ridiculous.

    At higher levels, making gold isn't that hard, but at lower levels it can be hard to make enough gold just to pay for repair kits.

    I fear the early game would completely turn off new players right now.
