What is with people

I am a citizen level founder I had tried some of the early builds and felt they were just to early for me. So yesterday I decide hrm I need to see where its at in development.

I log in seems ok spend some time wandering from town to town. finally find an open plot to put a house and now this one guy wont leave me alone. He has waited months for to place a plot there!!! he has to have it can I move..

I cant even explore or anything without being pestered it made me just log out finally.

is this what the game is going to be some guy just repeatedly pestering you for the spot he feels is his. even though it has probably been empty for some time since I literally just logged in and wandered around till I found one ?

at least if this was UO I could hunt him down and kill him until he stopped.

 

This is hilarious. Maybe invite him in, and never let him leave?

 

so a guy was waiting by a digital lot to place his home telling people they can't as he wanted to claim it?

why was he waiting months to place a plot there...he knew there was a wipe 1 month ago, so this 'months' doesn't apply really. more like several weeks.


wouldn't worry about it though, Starr has said several times there will be plenty of spots to place house, and I think the next build will have like 20-something player towns in it.

 

Reminds me when I placed in Kingsport, someone told me that they wanted to place where I had placed............ not really quite sure what they expected me to do especially as we were in the middle of a land rush lol.

 

right click him and hit block, and then ignore, if he is really bad, hit report.

There will always be people with an entitlement problem. That is true for any multiplayer. Although I think SotA has fewer than expected.
Just ignore and move on.

 

LOL it is a bit cut throat. I was standing on the square slab to place a house when someone came by and placed right under my feet. Funny thing is that person never ever placed a house on the lot. I friended him and he never comes on that I see.
At first I was irritated, but then realized ok first come first serve, I lost, get a grip majoria, and was placed accross the street from him after all. Of course I don't hold grudges lol

 

Crazy part was it was not like I was a ninja getting a spot... it was in Braemar, where I started! and I did not place right away I did the whole thing where you ask guards about free spots. then I went on a roam to other towns and after Kingsport, and Owls Head and 3 of the smaller places were all full I went back.

Then I had to find the spot again, then I had to go back to find the bank because I did not know you had to have the plot deed in your pack. then I FINALLY came back and placed it.... this took probably 3 hours...

I have no idea how long the spot sat unused before I started considering we are several weeks into the new build...

oh well I am going to do the whole block for now but I like the idea of getting him to shardfall

 

If he doesn't log on for a week then he will lose it. Just be ready to pounce.

 

I am irritated somebody would do this.

I keep getting ganked in Single Player Online.
Then again it might just be the dog under the desk farting.

 

LOL thats crazy. I have not had the experience of someone bugging me like that.

There is an /ignore "cha name" function that works thankfully.

 

• /reportplayer <playername>, <text> - report inappropriate behavior
• /block <playername> - add player to blocked list

Hahaha, oh man. That is funny. Yeah just block his sorry behind and report him as has been mentioned. Most likely when the next Release drops it wont matter any way right? Sounds like guy needs to get a life outside of his computer room.
