Something to consider with NPCs & Names

    Was really excited discovering you could ask a NPC for their name to learn who they are (so much so I put it in my Steam review.)

    So much so, it began to make my head spin about the possibilities.

    If there is an affinity/reputation system, I thought it would be interesting to encounter NPCs that flat out may not provide their name to you (if they don't like you) or blatantly lie (thinking of the bandit in Braemar who gives the Owl's Nest quest) and give you a false name.

    Could lead to some interesting implications for quests and such.

    Just my wooden nickle.

    I would like to rename NPC's, so that when you see them again you can personalize your association with them.

    "Nob the Stable Boy, your new SotA name is Pinto."

    "Lord Edmar, your new SotA name is Flounder."

    Am I the only one incredibly nervous about how quickly they pounced on this idea?


    Really looking forward to what you do and I'm thrilled that its already possible to do with current design. Just remember... Moiseyev Trueden is the true friend of ALL NPCs...
