Still no one is talking about full loot, stop trying to get the thread closed please ;)

And no for me there absolutely isn't anything in the game even remotely as pressing as loot and pvp especially this late in creation.

If I get killed and drop a rough stone building block arch or large fountain, will that encumber the person who killed me?

What about a pvp ranking system, when you kill someone you earn pvp points and you can spend those to buy special abilities/special gear like in Dark Age of Camelot. Yeah I'm dreaming, I miss this game so much :d.

I love trophies for deco........being able to craft items with them would be amazing. I still want to be able to make a mannequin out of body parts :)

As people saw, I was in game quite a bit yesterday doing some PVP with people. I don't use special gear or any special buffs so I'm not crazy powerful like some devs we will refrain from naming here. I hope that if people kill me in game, they proudly use my trophies as decorations! I was killed three times yesterday, twice by the same person so a few Atos trophies are starting to appear in the world!

Cool, but I hope it's integrated with the lore.

We were told that the system would allow looting only one item. You got two and you're saying that isn't enough.

Also I think you should really consider the repercussions of the loot system.

PvP is fun when you have people you can fight. If people are afraid of losing gear, they are less likely to engage in PvP, so there are fewer opportunities for PvP. Even when you do find someone you can fight, if you kill them and they lose all their gear, then PvP ends right there. They can't come back for round 2. Instead they need to go get more gear to come back, and if it is lesser gear, they will have even less of a chance to beat the person who killed them.

So PvP will be rare, and it will be over quickly as opposed to continued, fun gameplay. Even if they do come back, you sit twiddling your thumbs for ten minutes to see if they might come back or not.

Is that really what you want? Why?

The weakness of the pvp system kept me away from the game. But now, with the integration of loot system, the game gets more and more interesting. I will follow future developments.

Not true. The system was explained a little different than you remember.

The OPs comment fits exactly what was described. Start small and scale upward to find an acceptable number of drops. The OP wants more.

why not? it is the same mechanic for each and every finisher, just different graphics for whatever you have chosen as 'yours'... and i'm honestly not htinking of dropping cows on people in the game, i've only found one, anyway.

So far this system sounds fine to me. The obvious balance that they're striving for is if it's going to go full loot or loot a bunch of items then people will just run around with their weapons and lowest amount of armour possible. 1 or 2 items is low enough to take the sting out of losing and still potentially give you more than killing a wolf would.

Well if you only get cosmetic stuff out of any kind of pvp reward system then I am cool with it.
I wouldn't mind items as well as long as pve players have a reasonable way to obtain something similar.

I think unlocking titles, emotes and vanity gear with PvP ranking is an excellent idea. In fact, it is the very idea I've suggested several times in the past.

As long as all of this is optional then it is ok. But when people wouldn't have a choice anymore and always lose all of their gear this would alienate a lot of players. Or are there MMOs with a full loot system that are extremely successful? I don't know of one. And I don't think that the devs would want to alienate the players.

Good loot. Stuff the skull with cotton and jam a flaming torch inside.

    Flaming Abydos Skull Torch

    @Chris

Halloween decoration in the add-on store?
