How do I upgrade with store credit?

I have $10 store credit, I would like to upgrade from Adventurer to Immortal Adventurer. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that without typing in a load of unneeded credit card information, or have I missed something?

 

From memory, when I wanted to use store credit for anything, I selected Paypal at the first screen and it then takes you to a second screen with checkout options - the second screen is where you can apply store credit to reduce the payment amount (you can reduce it to zero by using store credit for the full amount).

You need to select a payment method to be able to use the store credit in the check out.
Very counter intuitive.
I usually go with Amazon since that requires a minimum of details. But as long as you use full credit there is no transaction.

 

One thing to note is that buying a credit does not immediately make them usable. You need to go to your Account page and click Convert to Credits on any of the Store Credit Gift Coupons you purchased. These will then appear at the top of the page in the Store Credits line.

Then, as noted above, select any of the payment methods and there will be an option to apply credits to the purchase.

If you do PayPal and your store credit is sufficient to cover the whole transaction, you don't even go to the PayPal page, it just thanks for you the transaction.
