Can't carry on conversations with Soltown camp refugees

    Title: Can't carry on conversations with Soltown camp refugees

    Details: Yesterday when R26 was released, I started the Path of Truth and was able to talk to NPCs. Today I started the Path of Love with a new avatar, and I talked to Edvard and Guard Stanley, but I am having problems talking to the Soltown camp refugees.
    When I try to talk to the refugees, they speak their initial greeting, but don't react to anything after that. Some ask what my name is, and when I tell them they are silent and stop responding. Others have underlined key words in their initial greeting, but when I click on one, the chat window records that I spoke that word, but the NPCs don't respond.
    EDIT: I just tried again and I was able to talk to Emily. Still not the others.
    Specific to Abigail: When I double click on Abigail, my avatar turns her back to Abigail before the conversation starts.

    EDIT: Same problem with Edwin the Tanner and Ashton

    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) System RAM: 16324

    I have experienced the same yesterday. But then I realised I had coconuts equipped. Dialogue doesn't work while "mounted".

    Details: exiting and re-entering scene does not fix it.

    Having coconuts equipped breaks conversations, as mentioned by Fox.
    Unfortunately you will need to remove them to speak with NPC's for the immediate future.

    No coconuts involved. I had come straight from the opening Path of Love Solace Bridge scene and was equipped only with the Ranger gear you get there as a new avatar.

    I noticed that the problem occurs when two players try to talk with the NPC the same time and the converation-window is still open . Conversation suddenly stops.
    It doesn't happen when the first player closes the conversation-window by writing 'Bye'
    Maybe that's a hint was is wrong with the dialogs?

    I solved this by disabling conversation closeups in game options.

    At the time of this report we were experiencing some server difficulties that were affecting NPCs by making them unresponsive. Can you verify if this issue is still occurring for you? Thank you for reporting.
