Make a wish

If there was one thing you would like to see changed or added to the game what would it be?

Lets make this fun and not start flaming each others ideas or thoughts. We cant all want the same thing obviously. One wish, one sentence.

My wish is for SOTA to be old school UO hardcore pvp.

 

I don't want much - just the ability to place books and notes anywhere on my island, as POT decorations.

 

I give my wish away , A noble Robe for Baron.

I wish we had a greater variety of creatures in the game (At least double what we have now).

 

I wish it were July 28th...

 

Fireplace deco for my house... I have a chimney, but no fireplace inside...

 

Central Markets where Avatars could place their vendors in NPC towns, Player Run Towns, and Player Owned Towns.

 

~Area Specific Cultures~
I'd like to see regionally ethnic styled costumes that could only be made in those areas or cities like Ardoris...
Many of us can't travel the world, yet this would encourage our local cultures through style.
This would attract more players, identifying us as a multi cultured and international game.

The ability to drop all items on the ground, and be picked up by other players.

 

One thing I've always wanted to see in a game is a reward based on pure chance, not dependent on level, or game play style (groups vs. individuals), or how often you play -- just pure chance.

Say a couple of times a month, the game places a reward, like 1000 gold pieces, somewhere in the world. It could be loot on a monster or an NPC that you kill, or in a crate tucked in a cavern somewhere, or in a cabinet in a shop keeper's store. Anywhere. It would be random and varied so no one would know where it would happen next. Some may never even be found. But I've always thought that that level of surprise would make the game a lot of fun for those who can't or don't or won't do high end bosses and dungeons. Knowing there is a chance, even tho small, that someday they might chance upon a really great prize -- sounds like fun to me.

Edited to add: One of my fondest memories from UO was killing a nuisance Headless One who must have recently looted a body (unbeknownst to me). Instead of finding the usual 20 or so gold pieces, I found a sack of thousands of gold. It was a great moment (at a time when several thousand gold meant something, lol).

 

Fast travel. Gosh, I wish OP was for more than one thing.

 

Rares a bit what Cianna mentioned , and the ability to manipulate Deco which every way you wish. Oh and if we are not going to be able to fast travel willy nilly , we would like pack animals, yes so that my baby lama "Forever Young" can grow up .

Yes a little while ago I loged in to UO and there was Beetle gone wild sitting in the Scara Brea inn. I tamed it and found all the dye tubs and a stealable lamppost, the person must have loged out and forgotten about his pet

 

I wish the loot on mobs and within chests was much more random and rewarding (for example: include player crafted weapons and armor).
