No mobs in game yet...?

Hey Everyone,
Decided to pledge and help test game...
I have been playing all day in various areas, right now I am in the drowned mountains, but so far no matter were I go it is just empty land.

What is the timeframe to add mobs to the game....so far the land masses look great.

I play multiplayer only....not sure if that is why it is empty.

 

You might be going to POT's, player owned towns, or even PRT's, player residential towns. There are no mobs, nor resources to be found here. You will need to find a PVE zone, there are plenty of them, and they are all shown with their names with a scroll behind it, you can often see some from a distance on the overland map.

Drowned Mountains is a POT.. just to the northeast is a place called Elysium Foothills, there are the mobs, but beware! There are many PVE zones, try taking the boat (there is one to Airie, and one to Etceter in your vicinity, Airie and Etceter are both towns, and are not mob zones, but NPC cities) and visiting other lands as well..

 

Sounds good....see what happened was I got into game and the npc asked me a bunch of questions, then sent me to a portal, when I went in it crashed and after logging back in the portal did nothing so I had to relog and use the overlend map to get anywhere.

where is a good starting area to kill mobs being brand new?

 

When you enter a PVE scene, turn around. You'll see a stake with one to five skulls on it. More skulls, more difficulty. The swamps just east of Aerie are one and two skull areas, IIRC.

Yes, head to Airie by boat, there are a lot of easier areas near there and to the north I guess? Look for the Zone markers within the zone (a stick with skulls on it, 1 skull is easy, 5 is the hardest). Blood River is probably a great place to the north of Airie, lots of easy mobs.

And use www.sotamap.com to help find your way around, until you learn the map

 

Welcome! Visit sotamap.com and use it to navigate easily. If you mess around with the POI index there (third button on the bottom left), you can sort zones by difficulty. Stick to one skull areas for now. Most zones will have little markers by the gate that show the level, so watch for those. I will be in game in an hour or so and will take you on a little tour if you like
