    Socketing the right gems should allow players to create "Light Sources" on objects. Including Night Vision (if it's a helm or goggles or something: might be balance issues here)! :)

    Starr said that enchanting weapons with Light would be socketing a Sun gem and then enchanting. Hopefully other (non-weapon) items can be enchanted the same way down the line.
