    God OP I agree with you 100% Ive been killing them all too, this is ridiculous they feel and look so out of place and that sound just ruins any relaxation of hanging around town.

    Its an immensely annoying sound it needs to be adjusted, I don't care of how in line with the lore these things are, when it becomes unenjoyable it needs to be looked at :(

    Some things in the game are too loud - that is a known issue that is listed in the patch notes:
    Many SFX are not properly tied to the sound volume controls.

    Nevertheless it might be a good idea to point out sounds that are particularly annoying in the R32 feedback forum to have a better chance of the issue getting the attention of the devs.

    Oh my LORD! I can't stand the sounds they make. Completely agree. This absolutely has to change soon. I'm so completely annoyed by them that it really does ruin my experience in towns...

    I'm going to have to agree that these watchers are WAY too loud.
    Everyone I've shown the game has complained about that horrid screeching noise.

    I'd also like to complain that there are way too many of them running around cities, getting in the way, and making it hard to move around town without them always making my character move in slow motion.

    Speaking of that annoying "slowing" effect, if it has to exist, maybe measures should be taken to keep NPC's from standing around narrow paths, perfectly spaced so that there is no way to run by without getting stuck on them?
