So I don't know if anyone has heard of this mod for Skyrim, but it is EPIC! It is truly another game unto itself and is the main reason I have stopped playing SoTA recently, lol. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is terrific. Plus it's completely free so long as you have Skyrim, which is what the mod runs off of.

It has been completely re-voiced, graphics are flawless (more like Witcher 3 than Skyrim) and the music is beautiful. Moreover, the story is truly compelling and fascinating, with enough lore to quench the thirst of any knowledge seeker. If you love Skyrim or any sandbox open world game I HIGHLY encourage you download this mod and take a journey through the land of Enderal. You will not be disappointed! :D

As an FYI, since it is an entire game unto itself it's rather large (8 gigabytes) and does require a decent graphics card since the game assets have been remastered. Also, if you're like me and have your version of Skyrim loaded up with various mods, take the time to watch the install tutorial. There can be some issues with conflicting mods. Other than that, do us both a favor and DOWNLOAD THIS MOD! lol :)

There is no Linux version of Skyrim, so there's no comparison to SotA.

Enderal broke just about every other mod I was using so watch out for that.

Absolutely! There is no comparison. A great game on a single platform is much better than a mediocre game on three.

Personally I'm waiting for Skywind (Morrowind mod for Skyrim) but that's a ways off.

Yeah, I was super cautious about that so I installed it on my laptop. I can't have anything affect my perfectly modded Skyrim world lol! :D

Exactly. Luckily I wound up purchasing Skyrim a second time in Steam so I could take advantage of the mod management. All I had to do was reinstall and Steam reinstalled all my mods as well with settings. :)

If it's mediocre then why are you here? o_O

[edit] BTW, Skyrim is on at least four platforms (Windows, Mac, XBox 360 & PlayStation 3).

Ahhh be nice Lord Barugon. We love Cordalayne. I would be so sad to see him go. WR misses him. The game atm makes some people crazy, and that is understandable, nothing is done. Not one single system or thing is done, and if someone focuses too much on that then the game is unplayable for them. It won't always be the case. I do believe this with all of my heart, but SOTA is by no means a finished product.

Enderal is great! I was hoping for the single player narrative and immersion of SotA to be similar to this mod.

I understand that. What I don't understand is why some people come here simply to bag on SotA, especially since it's not a finished game.

BTW, I responded to DepGames, not Cordelayne.

Yes I saw that. I am not trying to be naggy, but I guess I was being that way ;) Sorry. Yes it can be a tough road playing an incomplete game was my point. Personally I like to hear about other games. Knowing and having played other games gives us insight and ideas to offer here. We can get locked in a tunnel of acceptance. So yes I support checking out other games. I jump on SWTOR every once in a while. In the end SOTA will win out for many and new people will come and some will go. Well that is my thoughts and I also know and get that you were standing up for SOTA. :)

Yes, God forbid some of us should be critical, even if we're still playing. Everyone has the right to express their frustration however they like as long as they don't attack others. Some here don't want to allow that -- I guess it just dredges up their own uncertainty about the game and they get defensive.

Lol, I just wanted to let people know about a really amazing mod for Skyrim that i've been playing. I wasn't ragging on SoTA nor have I stopped playing completely. Just until I've explored Enderal! :)

Hmm, I will have to check it out. I have read others who have raved about it.

Have you tried out Forgotten City? It's a mod with its own voiced quest-line which I found really good.

Look forward to trying this. To be honest, I love the world building in Skyrim (and most elder scrolls) but typically find the story telling lack luster and the companions to be basically void. Modders show you can make really well done stories and companions in those games; I wish Bethesda would give it try. I always wanted a game where Bethesda built the world and game mechanics and old school Bioware wrote the story and companions (and thinking that might be close to what we could eventually get from RG).
