    I am not sure where this goes but.. Do health potions get stronger with higher alchemy?

    I'd like it if they made potions crafted with higher alchemy more effective. They could change health potions to restore a percentage of your health instead of the healing range of x-y that they currently do. Higher tier potions that are only craftable by alchemists of certain levels would heal you for greater percentages of your life. I prefer percentages because it keeps health potions useful regardless of how large your health pool is. If a health potion only heals you for 50 points and you have 1k hit points for example... then they're basically useless.

    To answer your question, they do not.

    If they did, I might be more inclined to use them. As it is, chances are I will take 40 damage in the time it takes to consume one...

    From Hangout of the Avatar they stated the plan was always to craft more powerful potions based on skill. Not implmented yet.

    Definitely look forward to that then!

    The point at which potions become meaningful as healing vs damage for the action for me right now is basically also the point where enemies are easy enough that I don't need potions. A focus potion is usually a better bet for me, but even those lose effectiveness as I level up and focus cost per ability use rises. They were awesome tools in 1 and 2 skull zones.

    Also more effective potions would give you a reason to buy from players rather than base vendor stock.

    I don't know if going percentage based would be the right answer, that could almost make them too powerful at higher levels...

    As someone new to the game, my first attempt at making money was making a few stacks of health potions to sell on a vendor.......after all...that has always worked with every other MMO....people always are in need of health potions.


    ......so.......they are still on my vendor if anyone needs them.........

    I do think pots/alchemy will be relevant. I'm happy it's later than sooner, not something to be rushed.

    Yea, alchemy in general needs more detail. More portions and greater variety too. For example master work health potions etc

    Need a variety of poisons too. Plus a fix to the skill (like doing DD if hitting a poisoned target instead of overwriting)

    Yeah, different poison effect: shock, damage over the time, increase target chance to fizzle, increase damage. And please give ability to use poison with arrows !!!

    It's in an odd place as a combat glyph. One usually sees it as a prep prior to combat. 1 blade, 50 arrows etc, no dur

    EQ2 had a crazy selection of poison to coat weapons
