Can anyone tell me where this item came from and if it can be used as a decoration?

    Ah, good idea. Thanks.

[edit] Not a decoration, so not worth the time to find it.

I try to avoid buying some of these 'unusual' items from other players as I know that I will eventually find them in game.

If it were usable as a decoration, I would probably steal one (or two).

And I would almost guarantee that the Oracle is OK with this. However, removing deco from Lord British s castle is a capital offense punishable by slow torture on the Wheel of Pain :D

i'd love an option to buy odd items like that from npc's instead of stealing them.

go to an orphan, and offer them a gold piece for it. watch them walk over, wait for the people to not look, gank it, then walk back to you.

let THEM get the virtue hits.

Ever heard of something called "accessory to the crime" ????
OR, how bout this: "Aiding and Abetting" ??? :p

Her highness, Ms Oracle, won't be amused by your feeble attempt at subverting her gaze....

And did you notice that big-eyed insect over in the corner taking notes of the whole episode ?

It's easy to miss, but look for the building with several children playing outside. You will also see a gust ball on the ground.

Oh kewl, I need a new gust ball LOL.

And the little brats are all around my house so finding more of them in a group is not desirable.

I've seen player vendors do that and have bought "mislaid" decorations, if the price was not exorbitant, from them :D

Someone is also selling in inoperable Kobold canon. I remember it last year in the Graff Gem mines. So, if someone is selling it, then it is in the game somewhere waiting for me to discover it :D
