Buying Recipes

Can every recipe be bought in the game? For example, I am looking for the wooden bed frame and piano recipe, but seem unable to find them.

Go to Owlshead in Hidden Vale you can buy many recipes off the 3 vendors in the door behind the trainer. There is a cow there too as a hint to the location.

 

Now them are some coun'ry directions - "take a right at the cow, the store is yonder!"

 

they have been moving some of the higher-end recipes off the default merchants. you may need to find a carpenter that sell them.

 

Yes, but unless you're crafting plate/chainmail, good luck finding someone selling the recipes. Seems every town has a blacksmith and they sell those recipes, but if you need a tailor or carpenter, you better start exploring.

 

Thanks for the replies everyone. I know of the Tailor and Carpenter in Ardoris and Owls Head. Is there a list of where Tailors and Carpenters are? I think Ardoris has a merchant that sells special recipes, but I cannot remember.

the bed frame is generic. No recipe needed. Just use the formula listed in sotacraf t

 

I have yet to see the piano recipe being sold in game anywhere but maybe you can still "discover" it?

 

Actually if you are coming from the entrance to the town, you turn right into the market, then turn left before you get to the cow. Oh, and don't trip on the chickens.

I am killing myself look for the Fancy Band shirt and hat recipes..i have the basic ones..any ideas where to find those 2 ?

Fancy omb outfit is not high end and wooden bed frame is just a component, i think they (the devs) just forgot to add them.

 

Not all recipes are required. You can still discover some stuff.

 

Guildie has been searching high and low for the piano recipe... has it been removed or is it just not buyable anymore ??
