Neve rexpected that i would quote Wil Wheaton but in this case: https://twitter.com/wilw/status/813834760346890242
I watched Rogue One just yesterday night and the last words come out of Carrie Fisher: Hope and then you go out and read that she is gone.
Actually it wasn't Carrie Fischer in Rogue One. I remember reading another actors name behind Lea's in the cast... But it's still nice thought.
No, Leia and Grand Moff Tarkin both were animated with modern CGI. Grand Moff Tarkin aka Peter Cushing (dead since 1994 btw.) And Carrie Fisher just simply gave the "ok" for it (now obviously dead since 27. Dec 2016 )
Oh and the voice actually really was Carrie Fishers younger voice, they resampled it, again with modern computer stuff
Ah ok. I knew about Tarkin, but not about Lea... I just remember reading another name behind "Lea Organa" in the cast at the end... probably the artists who's face they used for motiontracking... A great ending for the movie and a really sad one for the actress. But I really like the thought that her (even vritual) last word was "Hope!"
She'll have more last words, as she already filmed her scenes for Episode 8 next year. We love you Carrie!
Debbie Reynolds...Carrie Fisher's Mother, died this afternoon...reports of a stroke while planning her daughter's funeral.
This is a terrible tragedy for both women to pass away like that. I can't imagine what's it like for the daughter to lose her mom and grandma at the same time
I can't believe she doesn't have one. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/moviesnow/la-et-mn-fisher-star-20161229-story.html
That is soo very sad to see two beautiful women go. But now they will have each other in the world beyond. This year has been a terrible year for so many famous people dying. Here in the UK and in America. I think for many of us they have been a part of us through all our life . With that, a part of us has died too. It makes me realise how precious life is and that we should live life as if it was our last
That's exactly what she said : "And her death Wednesday at the age of 84 had the kind of tragic story line Hollywood made famous, coming only one day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher, died at the age of 60. Reynolds’ son, Todd, told media outlets that his mother was under stress over the death of her daughter and suffered a stroke at her home at about noon. Reynolds told him she missed her daughter and wanted to be with her." http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/la-me-debbie-reynolds-20161228-story.html
