Hello! Skill Cap/RP Town

    Hello all,

    I come from UO and have spent my first few months in SotA now and am finally making some progress. I really enjoy everything so far.

    I have two questions I'd like to ask the group.

    1. I've been having trouble finding specific/current information about the "skill cap" (if there is such a thing). Obviously my single Avatar can't do everything, but I don't have a frame of reference as to how much I CAN do in order to choose where I should focus my efforts. Any information out there?

    2. I went to an Astronomy meetup in Caer Dracwych recently and met some of the RP folks I was hoping to find. I am interesting in placing a home in a player-run/owned town. Any suggestions for active, friendly, welcoming locations?

    There are no skill caps other than "soft caps", meaning that the amount of xp needed to raise levels increases exponentially as you go up. The maximum individual skill level is 200, but no-one will ever get there (probably). You can level up as many different skills as you wish... no problems there. A single avatar can do everything, theoretically. It just takes a lot of time and work.
